The 1951 DDR-Oberliga season was the third season of the DDR-Oberliga, the top level of ice hockey in East Germany. Four teams participated in the league, and BSG Ostglas Weißwasser won the championship. It was held from November 30 to December 17, 1950, at the newly-constructed Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle. The championship was completed before Christmas to allow cycling events to take place at the venue in January.
