Mickey Mouse picks up his girl, Minnie Mouse, to go to a barn dance. Pete the Cat attempts to impress Minnie, but Mickey keeps messing up, and in the end, after Mickey uses a balloon to try to get Minnie's attention, Minnie leaves Mickey for Pete.
