Jasson of Conté (pronounced JAHss-ohn of kohn-TAY), born in 444 HE, is the son of King Jonathan IV of Conté and Queen Thayet jian Wilima. Jasson is fourth in the order of succession to the Tortallan throne after his oldest brother Roald, his niece by Roald, Lianokami, and his next older brother Liam. Thus it is quite unlikely that Jasson will ever inherit, even though his older sister Kalasin gave up her claim to the Tortallan throne upon her marriage to Kaddar Iliniat, the Emperor of Carthak.
