Zetheron was a wizard who lived in England in the 700's. He was born into scandal, the child of a wealthy landowner's daughter and a peasant's son. His father was a wizard, even though neither Zetheron or his father would ever know it, having lived before the advent of standardized magical education. Zetheron's life was devoted to herbology. He kept gardens, where he would experiment for hours, even days. He was assisted by a devoted house-elf, Babbly. Despite being somewhat of a hermit, he did impart some of his knowledge unto a young Merlin.
