Asru was an aide to the Alsakan Vicar Lharra during the Alsakan Crisis in 13,000 BBY. After Lharra received an invitation from the Jedi Order to attend a meeting on Ossus, Asru and one of Lharra's other aides, Rashus, traveled with her to the Jedi world.
