Doran travelled to Blood Lily Island for his book Secrets of Deltora. There, he discovered Forta grazing on the lilies. Later, she chose Blood Lily Island as her hiding spot when Doran convinced her to go to into hiding. Sadly, her sleep lasted longer than she anticipated, and she was eaten alive by fleshbanes.
