The Goodall Cup is the championship trophy of the Australian Ice Hockey League. This has only been so since 2000; it was previously a traditional inter-state tournament. With it having first been awarded in 1909, it makes it the fifth oldest ice hockey trophy in the world, after the Stanley Cup, the Queen's Cup, the Boyle Cup and the Allan Cup. New South Wales is by far the most frequent winner of the Cup, with 37 titles; since the Cup has become the AIHL's championship trophy, the Newcastle North Stars are the most titled team with four titles; the Sydney/Penrith/AIHL Bears have three titles.
