A fishnet was a type of net used to catch fish. The Native American inhabitants of the planet Amerind used fishnets in a nearby river. While attending to the fishnets in 2268, a young boy became tangled in them and drowned. Thankfully, Kirok was able to revive the boy. (TOS: "The Paradise Syndrome" )
