Players were asked to fight an evil tree to signify the handover of the Year, but things took a turn for the worse when the ritual turned out to be ineffective. Both free players and members were rewarded with a sunbeam crown and the Invoke Spring emote. A teleport expends one charge from the crown. Each crown has two charges by default and can hold a maximum of 30 charges. If a player killed an evil holly tree during the event, the crown gained two more charges. The crown can be used to teleport 30 times before it becomes ineffective.
