The Lands Above constitute the corporeal world of the Earth where life exists, including, presumably, deep subterranean areas. They are markedly separate from the Lands Below, which can only be accessed through specific gateways that were long ago sealed off by wizards, and from the Lands Beyond, from which no living being can return.
