Lippies V.5 is the first version of Lippies to not include anything relating to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Instead of centring around Knuckles and Tails, the story instead follows two new characters, Kniro and Tito. Similarly to Lippies V.4, Lippies V.5 was never completed, ending with an unfinished eighth book and seven other completed ones.
