Chateau d'Onterre is a vast estate in the Dales and was once the seat of House d'Onterre. The chateau was abandoned many years ago under suspicious circumstances. The Inquisitor can find out what really happened through exploring the building and reading from letters, notes and diary entries. These writings reveal that the D'onterre family's daughter was a Mage. Fearing their family name would be sullied by a mage talent, they kept their daughter's magic capabilities hidden. The daughter eventually made contact with a demon that manifested itself in reality after manipulating the young girl. The child's possession resulted in the deaths of her family and the chateau's staff.
