Skald's Retreat is an island estate in the region of The Rift, located on the Isle of Gold on Lake Honrich. Many bards and skalds were trained in Skald's Retreat, including High King Jorunn, the leader of the Ebonheart Pact. When the Vestige arrives, a group of Vaermina worshipers called the Supernal Dreamers have corrupted the retreat and are attempting to merge it with Quagmire, Vaermina's realm.
