Sul-Van was a member of the council. His son-in-law Jor-El pleaded before the council that Krypton was doomed. The council, however, put all their faith in the supercomputer Brainiac, who stated that Jor-El was wrong. In secret, Brainiac knew of the planet's impending destruction and was already planning his escape. When Krypton exploded, all members of the Science Council perished. This article is a stub.
