Pamela Reed (born April 2, 1949) is an American actress, who appeared on "The Simpsons" as Ruth Powers, the Simpson family's next door neighbor. Reed is best known for her work in such shows as the CBS series Jericho, NBC's Parks and Recreation, and the film Kindergarten Cop.
