Ujina Ataken was a wiry, heavily scarred old bushi, sensei of Ujina Torid-e. He claimed to have defeated more than 50 men in personal combat. Ataken was a ruthless taskmaster and devoted teacher who worked long and hard to find rhe proper style necessary to suit each of his individual students.
