From the plants discovery in 150 A.D, the Flower has provided a very good defense of Scotland through the use of AoE intoxication, basically everyone within a 4 metre radius gets extremely drunk. The ancient barbarians of the country lined up these flowers in a line across the whole of Scotland, as the barbarians were immune to the plants intoxicating effects (obviously they were Scottish) This prevented the Roman invasion of Scotland and forced them to build Hadrian's Wall to prevent all of England getting drunk aswell.
