Darthipedia is a parody encyclopedia dedicated to the Star Wars series. Created on August 10, 2007 by the user Gonk and hosted by the corrupt and controversial wiki farm Wikia, the encyclopedia has accumulated over five-hundred and eighty million content pages since its creation, currently making it the largest wiki hosted by Wikia. Darthipedia has drawn criticism for its portrayal of such taboo topics as the destruction of Earth and the universe, rape and pedophilia, often times in a supposedly "comedic" way. As a wiki, the content of the website can be written and viewed by any member of the community, with or without an account, allowing many young and impressionable children to be exposed to the distasteful content without warning. This is often times the case, with many young editors
