Details: Stella Hut is the daughter of Robert Wortman, an American soldier who was stationed in Korea in the 70s. In 1972, he met and married a Korean woman named Ok-Cha who he nicknamed Sunny. Stella was born on January 6, 1973, and shortly after, they moved to an American Air Force Base in Japan, where Sunny worked at an ice cream parlor. The visits Stella had with her father to there were her only memories of her mother. Robert was eventually transferred back stateside, but before the move, Sunny went to visit her family in Seoul. Neither Robert nor Stella saw her after that. Robert later learned that she did not want to go to America, and most likely decided to stay with her family.
