Amy Meyer was a journalist who worked for the Washington Post during Day 7. When interrogating Jonas Hodges, Jack Bauer called Renee Walker and had her transfer him through to Meyer as a threat to tell the newspaper about Hodges' survival. As the leaking of that information would have endangered his family, Hodges agreed to co-operate with Bauer and so Jack told Amy he would have to call her back.
