In the alternate continuity of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Deviations, Shredder has brainwashed all four of the Ninja Turtles. In the beginning of the book, Old Hob is tied up by the Turtles and tortured for information on the whereabouts of Splinter. However, this all turned out to be a set-up devised by Splinter, as after the rat's apprehension, Hob and Slash break into Foot Headquarters and start an attack. During the fight, Hob is mortally wounded by a flung sai from Raphael, and dies in Slash's arms.
