The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures is the overseeing board for all currently known magical creatures that require supervision (ie. Werewolves) or the advocacy board for magical creatures requiring assistance. They are charged with the capture, and supervision of all magical creatures in a humane way or overseeing the decisions made by the boards for supposed dangerous creatures. With the charge of all magical beings for all of the Wizarding world, they also represent the rights and regulations of the magical creatures currently living within society. Located on Level 4, it isn't unusual to hear roars or growls coming from their holding pens in the office. Entry to the department is on a personnel basis and must be approved if they are outside workers.
