Commando Sam was the strippergram who had been organised to perform in the Rovers for Liz McDonald's hen night celebrations in December 2007. The womenfolk were all in high spirits, with Betty Williams pointing out that he was a "big lad". Liz's nose was put out of joint somewhat as Commando Sam initially performed a solo routine for Eileen Grimshaw.
