A Senior Intelligence Officer, commonly referred to simply as Senior Officer, was the title given to the being in charge of a branch of Alliance Intelligence. Senior Intelligence Officers collected and reviewed data from across the galaxy, and presented the most important and critical information to the Chief of Intelligence. Commander Zgorth'sth served as Senior Intelligence Officer of Intentions during the Galactic Civil War.
