Ran Sheth Sharp-tongue is the Caineron war-leader and a member of the Randon Council. He is the Commandant in rotation at Tentir when Jame becomes a randon candidate. Sheth is Kendar, but has some Highborn blood. He is very tall, which makes him appear more intimidating. Sheth is Shanir, although his particular gifts are never explicitly stated. Sheth is Bear's younger brother.
