Michael Lee Matthews (born October 9, 1983, in West Covina, California) is an American football tight end for the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Georgia Tech. Matthews earned a Super Bowl ring with the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. He has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, and Virginia Destroyers.
