Tasselfoot, or Tass, was a close friend and business partner of Synthlight, as well as part of the development team for FFR. He managed the game and community full-time between early 2006 and late 2009, approximately. The FFR site was pulling in much traffic at that time, had a rapidly growing userbase, and was operating off of commercial revenue. During this time, Tasselfoot was involved with traveling to meetings concerning potential business deals with companies such as Vagrant Records (MFA), hosting T-Shirt design contests, and overseeing the site in general.
