Tasselfoot, or Tass, was a close friend and business partner of Synthlight, as well as part of the development team for FFR. He managed the game and community full-time between early 2006 and late 2009, approximately. The FFR site was pulling in much traffic at that time, had a rapidly growing userbase, and was operating off of commercial revenue. During this time, Tasselfoot was involved with traveling to meetings concerning potential business deals with companies such as Vagrant Records (MFA), hosting T-Shirt design contests, and overseeing the site in general.

During this time, Tasselfoot was involved with traveling to meetings concerning potential business deals with companies such as Vagrant Records (MFA), hosting T-Shirt design contests, and overseeing the site in general. When FFR went down in late 2009, Tasselfoot worked hard to try to get the site back up without the help of Synthlight, who had abandoned the project for the time being. Once the site was back up, he handed the ownership to another admin who lived in close vicinity to the Chicago servers. By the end of 2009, Tasselfoot stepped down from his position, citing reasons of which the biggest was non-payment of monetary compensation. He wrote a blog post describing his situation. Tasselfoot no longer associates himself with FFR and has launched another website, ThirdStyle, which is somewhat similar to FFR. However, his management style and personality are still legacy on FFR, as users refer to him on the forums even in 2015, six years after his departure.
