Aschen starships have been mentioned by SG-1 on at least one occasion. The Aschen are said to be capable of space travel, however, they are not natural explorers and therefore only travel within their own system and Confederation. However, they have discovered at least one planet using their spaceships, instead of traveling to it first in the Stargate. The Stargate on that world, was discovered after the Aschen arrival.
