Space Mossies use the same attack method that regular Mossies use, but this time around, they will extract their spines for a longer amount of time than that of Mossy. It should also be noted that they float around with their spines out when gravity is turned off in stage 11 of Volcano Valley. Nevertheless, they are still easy to KO. A single Space Mossy appears in Stage 6 of Volcano Valley, while several appear in Stage 11. Space Mossy's spikes jut out a full 360 degrees around its body; a regular Mossy's spikes only jut out 180 degrees.
