The SW99 (Smith and Wesson) is a polymer-framed, recoil operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistol introduced in 1999 by the American companies Smith & Wesson and Walther as a joint collaboration. It uses a modified receiver that is produced by Walther, while Smith & Wesson manufactures the slide and barrel.
