Grinelle is a female griffin who was in the Magic Dust Village when Bink, Crombie, Chester, and Humfrey arrived. She dosed Crombie, who was in griffin form, with water from a love spring to get him to mate with her. She then gave him lethe water to make him forget. Grinelle sacrificed herself for Crombie when a midas fly tried to land on him. It landed on her instead. Sometime after this, she recovered and had Griselda by Crombie.
