The Scooby-Doo Detective Agency was a group of crime-solving, freelance journalists. Originally, it had been the name of Mystery Inc. when they were preadolescents. Old friends, Fred Jones and Velma Dinkley, would appear sporadically to help out when they could (either together or separately).
