Redeveloped as a fully functional smooth-cobbled highway, this long stretch of road is being heralded as a proud example of modern engineering and innovation. It is wide enough to support four caravans side-by-side (two on the left, two on the right) at any one time, perfectly straight, and built entirely upon an isosceles trapezium-shaped dyke to reduce the risk of flooding from the moors surrounding the Hegdehem/Fanghill regions.
