The Elkrider is a diminutive being of the woodland faery folk dressed in green clothes, and with a white cloak, riding on an elk. He came to warn King Graham that winter would not end, and he invited King Graham to come to the Old Wood to see king Quilli'ehennan to learn more. The elkriders are essentially the equivalents of knights and messengers for the woodland faeries. They ride on a special breed of elk.
