Tahgla was a Cardassian Gul. In 2369, Gul Tahgla's starship docked at Deep Space 9 with the intent of journeying into the Gamma Quadrant. While Tahgla's ship was supposedly unarmed, Miles O'Brien and Odo discovered it had weaponry when O'Brien's crew attempted to install Impulse energy buffers. (DS9 novel: Bloodletter)
