Strife and Discord give Jason a "Magical Ball." That is supposed to be lucky for royalty. It turns out to be a basilisk, who Iolaus names "Ruff." Ruff is a baby who spits out green goo when threatened. The goo sets fire to anything it touches. In order to save his kingdom, Jason sends Ruff to live with other basilisks.
