Kela was a male unjoined Trill in the 24th century. He was married to another Trill and had two daughters, Jadzia, and another daughter. (DS9: "You Are Cordially Invited", "Penumbra") Jadzia would later describe Kela as having led a happy and productive life despite not being joined. (DS9: "Invasive Procedures") This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
