Chef Smurf (original French name Schtroumpf Cuisinier) is a character who is the village cook in the comic books -- a role that is assigned to the cartoon show version of Greedy Smurf. He wears an apron and a baker's hat. He knows dozens of recipes and cooks many dishes. Smurfs are mainly vegetarian, so he never uses meat, but he does use eggs. He always wears his toque blanche (white chef's hat).
