Joe Gerety is an American actor. He appears uncredited as a state trooper arresting D'Angelo Barksdale in The Wire episode "Cleaning Up". He has also appeared in Homicide: Life on the Street and The Shield. He has a recurring role as FBI Agent Sampers in season 6 of Homicide. He guest starred as Traynor Marshall in the season 5 The Shield episode "Jailbait".
