Kongo Jungle (コンゴジャングル, Kongo Jungle) is a stage in Super Smash Bros. (incorrectly spelled Congo Jungle), in Super Smash Bros. Melee and in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The stage is known as Past Stage: Kongo Jungle N64 in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Kongo Jungle 64 in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It is one of Donkey Kong's home stages. The stage is based on various levels from Donkey Kong Country, with pre-rendered backgrounds, environmental themes and songs, and most notable in a battle, use of the Barrel Cannon for transportation (usually for a vertical recovery).
