Leia Naberrie was a descendant of Padmé Amidala's sister Sola Naberrie and the mother of Nabé Harjoril. Named for Amidala's famous daughter, she took immense pride in being from the Naberrie family, and not only gave her daughter a version of the family name, but reinforced all through her childhood all the possible and definite famous relations the girl had through her mother. After Nabé was nearly killed by Darth Krayt, however, she reluctantly suggested she retire and marry. She was secretly relieved when Nabé refused and instead left Naboo to accomplish what she could.
