Abi Peterson was a prison guard who had a brief romance with Ryan Lamb while he was on remand for murdering his father Mark Wylde. Ryan's cellmate, Curtis Beven walked in on them almost kissing and later Abi managed to sneak a mobile phone into the prison for Ryan, so he could call his mother, Faye Lamb. Curtis found the phone and beat Ryan up. Abi also later broke up a fight between Ryan and his half brother Nathan Wylde in the prison visiting room and went on to visit the village to talk to Faye about her relationship with Ryan after Nathan spotted her. Nathan reported her to the prison authorities and she was moved to a different wing of the prison.
