Barta is an ice elemental damage technique in Phantasy Star Online 2. Barta costs 20 PP to cast, and fires a piercing projectile in a straight line toward its target. Level 1 barta has an 28% chance to inflict freeze status. Increasing levels of barta, up to the maximum level of 15, require higher base T-ATK to learn, deal more damage, and have a higher chance to inflict freeze status, up to 30%. Barta may be charged by holding the button down for a moment before releasing. Charged barta fires a larger projectile that deals significantly more damage for the same PP cost.
