Foerost was a location where the Imperial Captain Tabor Seitaron participated in a battle at some point prior to the Siege of Inyusu Tor during the Galactic Civil War. While showing Seitaron around the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Herald, an Imperial ensign commented on how the Herald's ten percent increase in efficiency might have been useful at the Battle of Foerost. Prior to the Battle of Scarif, the Drabatan Paodok'Draba'Takat carried out a demolitions job on Foerost which involved taking out a communications tower similar to the one on Scarif.
