The 2016 Canadian Presidential Election is an upcoming election for the Head of State of Canada. Comys Prower is ineligible to run as per the two term limit. The election process is the same as that of every past election. Candidates run under a party, starting July 2015. Then they run against the rivals in their own party in the primaries. After that, there will only be one candidate per party. The candidates then run against their rivals in the other parties in the general election.
