Barazbizar was a dwarven mining colony in the Ered Angmar, built close to an ancient Hillman settlement called Dun Cairn. After Dwálin the Wise´s heir had been betrayed the mine was settled by Orcs who built the city of Carn Dûm around it's entrance.
