Jenny was an ex-girlfriend and university friend of Matt Carter. Jenny and Matt met at university and dated on-and-off for five years. She met up with Matt and their friends Caroline and Mike along with Matt's new girlfriend Tina McIntyre at Nick's Bistro in November 2011. Tina felt uncomfortable when Jenny revealed that she and Matt were an item and tension rose when Jenny belittled her job. This caused Tina to storm out and have a row with Matt.
