Jim McBurney (born June 3, 1933 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario) was a professional hockey left wing who played one game for the Chicago Black Hawks in 1952-53. He played junior hockey for the Sault Ste Marie Red Wings and then the Galt Black Hawks. He won the scoring title (Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy) with Galt in 1952-53. During that season he got his callup with Chicago. McBurney never played in the NHL or even professional hockey again. He played for the senior Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds until he retired in 1959.
