Nykalia was a settlement on the Teplan homeworld. In 2372, Ekoria had heard about a woman in Nykalia who made a medication for people suffering from the Teplan blight to better cope with the pain and live slightly longer. Ekoria had not traveled there though, as Nykalia was distant from the settlement where Trevean had his hospital. (DS9: "The Quickening")
